The story
Our Cultures aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and environmental awareness among people from different countries. The organisation’s efforts are set towards fostering a mature, well-balanced, cohesive and cooperative society, while promoting open-mindedness, compassion, and environmentalism.
Originally, Our Cultures envisioned exponential growth from the local level to the regional, and ultimately becoming an international organisation, working with governments to fulfil social cohesion needs in a globalised world.
However, after a review of its organic growth and changes to its organisational structure, the vision has been updated. The new approach is to become a small, flexible, dynamic, and non-hierarchical (flat) organisation that collaborates with other grassroots organisations working towards similar goals, to gain a powerful momentum.
Accordingly, the organisation underwent a rebranding to reflect and communicate its updated strategies in an ever-changing world. The new branding aims to signal the changes, attract appropriate audiences, and prospective long-term collaborators.
Our Cultures’ character is defined by its accessibility, friendliness, and movement.
